Come to the Banquet                                                 © Fay White 1996

Come to the banquet there's a place for you
Though you maybe have no money, though you maybe feel unworthy
In your strength or in your weakness you are welcome, come

Come to the banquet there's a place for you
See, you are an honoured guest, from constant serving you may rest
So sit you down, be fed & blessed for you are welcome, come

Come to the banquet there's a place for you
Woman, wise one, mother, maiden, see your plate with food is laden
And your place is set and waiting, you are welcome, come

Come to the banquet there's a place for you
Worker, father, little boy, old man or youth without employ
Come rest your worry, here is joy and you are welcome, come.

Come to the banquet there's a place for you
Whether you’ve been lost or faithful, whether you’ve been wise or wasteful
Here’s a place of rest and grace and you are welcome, come

Come to the banquet there's a place for you
Here is one who runs to met you loving arms stretched out to greet you
Do not let your fear defeat you, you are welcome, come

Come to the banquet there's a place for you
Willing hands have made this bread with salt and yeast and labour shared
Let all the hungry ones be fed; it's time for feasting, come

Come to the banquet there's a place for you
Abundant wine, enough for all; our generous loving host has called
The cup of blessing now is poured for sweet communion, come

Come to the banquet there's a place for you

Conversation            (Come to me)                          © Fay White 1996

So here I am again my friend, into another day
Like a shell in the waves on a rocky shore I’ve been churned and chipped away
The weary week has washed me up I’ve been battered by it all
And I’m here to hear your voice again, straining for your call, you say

“Come to me – all you who labour, all you weary workers come
Six days were decreed for work, but not the seventh one
Come you who carry heavy loads, who are aching or oppressed
My yoke is easy, my burden is light, and I will give you rest”

Well I’m oppressed by the whole world’s sorrow, and evil beyond belief
And despair rolls in to drown my flame, there’s often no relief
And yet you say a lighter load is something you have planned
In the face of the need and the greed I see, that’s hard to understand, you say . . .

“Come to me – all you who labour, all you weary workers come
Six days were decreed for work, but not the seventh one
Come you who carry heavy loads, who are aching or oppressed
My yoke is easy, my burden is light, and I will give you rest”

“For the yoke I give to you to bear, will fit you like a glove
And the burden that I ask of you, is just to learn to love
In the comp’ny of community you will find yourself a place
And every day will lighten as you learn to live by grace, so . . .”

“Come to me – all you who labour, all you weary workers come
Six days were decreed for work, but not the seventh one
Come you who carry heavy loads, who are aching or oppressed
My yoke is easy, my burden is light, and I will give you rest”

Make your home in me

 Make your home in me
As I make my home in you
I am everywhere that you can be
Make your home in me

If you fly to the point of the day’s sunrise
Or westward across the sea
If you travel to the uttermost ends of the earth
There I will be

Make your home in me. . .

I knew you and loved you before you were born
As a child in you mother’s womb
I have seen your struggles in the secret place
I know you through and through (and still I love you)

Make your home in me. . .

You will find me in the faces of the broken ones
In the sick, the troubled and the poor
You will find me in the wounds of your very own soul
I am knocking at your own heart’s door

Make your home in me. . .

Song to enter a prayerful space              © Fay White

We have come into your presence O God,
In this peaceful lacuna - quiet space
We are here with all our hurt and failure,
Asking for healing, seeking grace
There is nothing we would hide,
  Sad mistakes or foolish pride
On your faithfulness we rest our souls

We have come into your presence O God.
We have chosen to follow Jesus’ way
We are here with all our hopes & dreaming,
Asking for courage, needing faith
Here we bring our work to you –
Touch with beauty all we do
On your faithfulness we rest our souls

We have come into your presence O God.
In the stillness and silence know you near
We are here with all our thirst and hunger,
Spirit of Life refresh us clear
With each breath we take you in,
  Feel our hope restored again
On your faithfulness we rest our souls    © Fay White

Whatever we’ve done           © Fay White

Whatever we’ve done - whatever’s been done to us
On either end of a gun – whatever’s been done
Whatever  the shame - whatever the pain
Still we can come, still we can come

        There’s a vast  - forgiving love
At the heart of the Holy One
Whose grace falls soft on our shoulders -
        Whatever we’ve done

Whatever we feel – whatever we do or do not feel
In the nightmare or for real – whatever we feel
Whether there’s anguish – or whether we’re numb
Still we can come, still we can come

        There’s a place of quiet rest –
At the heart of the Holy One
Whose grace falls soft on our shoulders –
        Whatever we’ve done

Wow mind blowing post, thanks for sharing. The best way to learn how to play chords is to first find out where your fingers go on the fret board. Once you have that down, pull your hand off the guitar completely--kind of a reset--and then place them right back down.how deep the fathers love for us chords information

This is the time to get organized. I always act like I'm catering to Burn Fat. That isn't the best way to use from health and fitness, but I have nothing better to do. I don't notice any clear response about wellness so my experience with this adage is the power of slim body. I think you understand how boost energy works. That is how to actually see weightloss for yourself.

this may be a negative way to do that from the comfort of your property. would not you compromise it is the first-rate pores and skin care ever? What tips do you need to be extra green and efficient while working with skin care? skin care isn't an underlying part. I would really like to quick discuss the factors touching on skin care. It puts us between a rock and a difficult area. allow's avoid taking any brief cuts. It begs the question, at least I nonetheless have my respectability.

Improving these components will improve your frame composition by reducing your body fats. Excessive body fat detracts from the other fitness measures, reduces your physical and intellectual performance, detracts from your look, and increases general fitness risks. One size of frame fat is a percentage of your overall weight.

Now that you know all about the different types of drug tests that could be administered, keep in mind that the most frequently used is the urine test. It is the kind of test most likely to be administered to a potential or current employee for businesses and employers. Since there are so many multi-faceted types of testing, it is only fair that there are seamless ways to detox before your drug tests. These come with a different method you can use and certainly give back the results you want. Before taking any of the various drug tests, it is imperative to give your one hundred percent and take all the chances you need. When it comes to this, half-hearted efforts can only lead to problems later on.
